Settings
Configure your alice workspace — general settings, billing, members, and security
Settings
The Settings area in alice lets you configure everything about your workspace -- from basic naming and timezone to billing, team management, and security policies. Access Settings from the sidebar navigation in your dashboard.
Settings Sections
| Section | What You Configure | Who Can Access |
|---|---|---|
| Workspace | Name, timezone, Slack connection, workspace deletion | All members can view; admin/owner can edit |
| Billing | Current plan, usage, upgrade/downgrade, billing period | Owner only |
| Members | Team roles, promotions, ownership transfer | Admin and owner |
| Security | Encryption details, audit logs, retention, access revocation | All members can view |

For a complete breakdown of role permissions, see Members & Roles.
Accessing Settings
From any page in the alice dashboard, click Settings in the sidebar navigation. You will land on the Workspace tab by default. Use the settings sidebar to navigate between sections.
If you are on the Free plan and want to explore paid features, the Billing section shows a comparison table so you can evaluate plans before upgrading.
